Taman Negara National Park is Malaysia’s main national park and is located in the states of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu. The park also offers a number of jaw-dropping caves hidden away for you to explore. The most popular of these is Gua Telinga, which they say is shaped like a human ear.
The tallest peak in Taman Negara National Park, Gunung Tahan reaches a height of 2,187 meters and it is about 53 km from the headquarters of the central park in Kuala Tahan. Climbing to the top of its majestic peak is one of the most adventurous and arduous activities you can undertake in the park. It generally takes seven days to hike there and back.
